It’s the day before we head off and we are excited and nervous! We are about to depart on an almost 6 months long backpacking trip across Central & South America and it’s the longest stretch of travel Julian or I have ever done. I’m feeling like we’ve packed way too much, my backpack is now 13 kilos and I’m struggling to carry it for more than 5min at a time, I guess I’ll get used to that fairly quickly though.

My packpack ended up being 15-16kg in SE Asia lol, not fun but I ended up much stronger after 7 months with it haha
